Vienna rules.

We have this incredible hotel here in Vienna that we discovered last fall when we played here. Its near the museum quarter/ tourist shopping district and the rooms are all pre-WWII apartments that have been converted into hotel rooms but without sacrificing their old-school charm. Imagine the hotel from "The Shining" a little bit. The owner came to our show last night and stood us for a couple rounds when we got back to the lobby after the show. He was telling us about how his grandfather was a bum and when he met this woman his father told him now he had to do something with his life so he bought this place and rented the flats out. It was taken away from him in the war and then his father ran it after and now he runs it. He loves music and only charges bands 50 euros a night to stay (regular person rate is 110e a night). Plus the walls have framed pictures of lots of performers that have stayed here and yesterday they took our picture for a wall!
