Tomorrow is the start of another tour. We drive to Seattle before flying to palm springs, and then driving to Indio CA for the Coachella festival out there in the desert. Never been, everyone says it's great though. Highlights include Dwight Yoakum, Swervedriver and Prince(!). Actually those aren't the highlights, they're the only things i wanna see. other than that, gonna soak up the sun, hopefully find a pool and read a book with a beer at my side. Right now i'm reading this play about a dysfunctional family in their 60's called, August: Osage County (Tracy Letts) as well as Dead Souls (Nikolai Gogol) which is russian and about a fellow that travels around the country buying the names of dead slaves off their former owners before the gov't knows they're dead....Comin' back from Coachella on Tuesday and then thurs flying to Amsterdam for a few days before starting the European tour that'll take us through Ireland, the UK, France, Italy etc.... Not sure i'm ready for this, but gotta bring home the bacon i guess. The usual pre-tour dinner at the Keg will be tonight where i will destroy a steak and an alaskan king crab amongst friends.
