On The Road Again

it's been a while....

After a well deserved break we are back on the road kicking the can of life, this time we have decided to try out Australia and see what all the fuss is about. After a wonderful 16 hour flight from Vancouver to Sydney we were sprayed with insecticide in the cabin of the plane by Quarantine officials and then hopped another short 2 hour flight to Melbourne. Our efforts have been rewarded though, our hotel is actually an apartment complete with washer/dryer/kitchen/separate bedrooms and the sweet breakfast spot is just around the corner. A lovely man named Benn (the most common name in Australia i think) is our tour manager and guide for the next couple weeks and so far as i can tell he's all pro-attitude with respect to the job at hand. So far so good. Day off to recover today although i dont feel the jet lag at all so i think i will check out the Melbourne Aquarium this afternoon and maybe eat a kangaroo steak later. It's good to be back....m
