Black Mountain was the recipient of an award we'd never heard of called "The Bucky Award" from CBC radio. The back of the medal says; 2008 Bucky Award, Catchiest Hook, Black mountain "Stormy High". It looks like a medal I won back in the 80's at a Judo competition, which was awesome, so this is awesome too...

Hi guys, super happy about the award. Just wanted to state that although I work for the CBC (in Montreal) and listen to loads and loads of music everyday, I haven't caught on to anything new in quite a while. I'm talking about I have not liked any current music for a long long time.
But In The Future is so immensely good that I put it in my cellphone to listen to everyday. You guys have everything I was looking for.
Anyways, just wanted to say that you do amazing, clever, intelligent, catchy, progressist (why not?) music and I wish you the best on your new tour. Hope to get a babysitter for my kid and catch you in Montreal. Best to all. Pmfortin
